Oceans Connections

Dolphin w-boy - Fred CateHumans are connected to the Oceans in every way possible, and human behavior impacts the oceans and the animals and plants that live in them and around them and depend on them for survival.  We value the oceans for their beauty and use them as places to live near and play in.  We value them for their bounty in food and energy and for the wonder of their unexplored depths.  But our impact on the oceans is not always positive.  Although they are valued, the oceans are often mistreated, ultimately to the detriment of the very people doing the mistreating.  Click on the links below to find out more about the special connections between humans and oceans and how the impacts based on those connections could have a devastating effect of the future we share together.
